For Father’s Day weekend why not take FREE fishing classes at Ft. Harrison State Park?  There is a lot to do this weekend.  I can’t believe this is all FREE!

Friday, June 15:

Mad Science: Preschool Gears @ Brightwood Library

Young children ages 4 – 7 are invited for a close-up look at the science behind the movies.

Nitro Joe 2012: Air in Action @ College Ave and Flanner House Libraries

Children of all ages are invited to this ephemeral and billowing show that will help them understand just how real air really is.

Family Fun Day Experience @ Indiana State Fair Grounds

Whether it’s shark petting, salsa dancing, or meeting a local celebrity-you don’t want to miss out on this event.

Family Learn to Fish @ Fort Harrison State Park

Families will meet first at the NREC and learn a little fish biology and some basic fishing skills.  Participants will then have the opportunity to practice fishing at Delaware Lake in Fort Harrison State Park.
